Every day

February started off nice and quiet and then picked up plenty of speed.

We thoroughly enjoying G&G's Christmas present.
And thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed Santa's present.

Ammon came and visited Primary, HAD to have, arms, AND a sword AND a headband, AND a belt AND a scarf, and told a kind of "army" story.

Sometimes our neighborhood can be dangerous. It's best to be prepared.

Pink cookies for Valentines.
We had our yearly snowstorm and it was pretty weak. But, the boys did get 1 1/2 days off of school
G is now 2/2 leaving his coat at school during a snow storm
Good thing he's sweet (and on his 8th pair of glasses).

I had a  quiet birthday executed by this guy. Reed was in Barcelona, so Matts set his alarm, decorated, made breakfast and took us out to dinner for my Birthday. Top that off with a night of reading on the couch and it was perfect!

Muffins with Mom
I think he knows me :)

There are a wonderful few weeks where spring and winter sports overlap and we get to freeze on the lacrosse and soccer fields in between basketball.

G won a new shaft at the college tournament. Which, was almost as cool as getting Georgetown's autographs.

Showing off his muscles.
He's got ALL the moves.

Though (s)he be little (s)he is fierce.

And one.

2x's sport weeks call for lots of selfies.

Cheeky Monkey's on their way to church.
And finally, lots of Jupi loves

But never enough love to fill the black hole of neglect.
And most importantly, Matts made his ward basketball debut.

Welcome 2016

We rang in the New Year with our good friends, the Jensens.

And epic laser tag battle.
G and Jacob vs Matts and Justin-WHO WILL WIN?

Miss Lisa had and endless supply of fun (and noisemakers/fireworks). Although, we did find out that gingerbread houses are surprisingly hard to blow up.
Then it was time for a little Skating (Kendall's contribution)

And a little skiing (Reed's contribution)

We got to watch this little Miss while Cath and Scott celebrated their anniversary.
Then Miss Iz took Excellent care of Little C while Reed and I snuck away for a night.
Meanwhile G lived it up with Grandma. As you can see, he was quite pleased to be getting his birthday date.

Finally, Little C go to join.

My Dead

By this time, these guys were pros and lived it up while Reed and C stuck to the bunny hill.
Reed was an excellent sport and joined in the Newell sing a long

Future missionaries at the MTC.
I kinda like this guy.
Cuddles with Uncle Brad

Grandpa took us to dinner at the Black Bear Diner and Christian barely escaped alive.
Celebrating 1/3 Mattsons

No visit to Utah is complete without some time spent with the Gehrings.

They even have a mini for the minis.

Then it was time to warm up and get back to real life.

This and That

Fall has brought it's usual whirlwind of travel, sports and a few extra surprises.
The last Saturday before school, we set off to float the Chattahoochee. Minutes before we put in, Reed was struck with a kidney stone. Luckily, we were close to Northside. Unluckily, we had our entire entourage, including Jupiter. Reed spent the next few hours getting hopped up on pain meds and I spent the next few hours running between the parking lot to check on the boys and Jupi and the ER to check on Reed-in my bathing suit. It was awesome. Extra luckily, our neighbors are awesome and the Phillips came and saved the boys (and me). After a few weeks of on and off again pain, Reed decided to have surgery-in Jasper. The hospital was small and southern and wonderful and Reed was better within 24hours.

With Reed traveling for work most of the month, we made a mega fort and settled in for a cozy conference weekend.

G was student of the month for academics! This has been a wonderful year for him as he's been challenged and gained confidence (yes, even more).

C went to play at the Smiths while I had a doctor's appointment. He painted pumpkins, made banana bread, lost a hermit crab and had a wonderful time.

G got to play in the opening game at Bell Memorial park.
It's beautiful.
He was asked to fill in for U-9 because they were low on players and he had a blast.

Last Hurrah

As the temperatures are finally starting to fall here in Georgia, we enjoyed one last day on the lake with the PetersEns and Myers.
