Shark Bait

I just received an email from my wonderfully persuasive triathalon training buddies reminding me that it's sign-up time again.
As a refresher here's a pic from last year
(note the very large marine animal swimming with us)
To borrow a phrase from Grayson:
"My Dead"

Monkey See Monkey Do

Grayson: "Fine. You're not coming to my airshow mom."
I wonder where that came from?

Happy Mother's Day

It's an interesting dichotomy when you become a young mother. Although your own little men shower you with adoration on Mother's Day you're still a daughter who has her own mother to pay tribute to. Mom
1. She's finally found the perfect way to magnify her life long calling and is getting her Phd in Psychology (emphasis on career counseling) aka writing post-it notes for the world.
2. She's taught me the beauty of times and seasons which enables me to be wonderfully content in being a stay at home mom for my little men.
3. She celebrates every holiday and month with festive food, cards, ribbon and decorations.
(who knew June was sunflower month)
4. She loves to read and taught all of us to love it as well. I'm sill excited to go home and see what new books are laying around.
5. She would/will do anything to support her children in all their impulsive pursuits.

1. She ADORES her grandchildren.
2. She's a fantastic gardener and even braves snakes to make her yard look fantastic.
3. She brings home wonderful trinkets from her travels.
4. She is an example of being frugal and using your resources wisely.
5. She thinks that Reed is hilarious. Being around her reminds me to truly appreciate the comedic talent I've married.

Military Spouse Appreciation Day

How cool is it to have real life heroes in our family? Thank you to Hayley and Kyle for all you do for our country and our family.
