Maniac McC

Who me?
I'm just kicking it in the play room
Why yes, I am sitting in the drawer on the far side of the train table that contains all the choking hazards and yes, I had to remove the top of the train table to get here.
And yes, I will try each and everyone.

Crazy Hat Day

Today at school was crazy hat day for G.  He wanted a ladybug (class mascot)/basketball hat...
And there it is
He did most of the work himself and was pretty pleased with the result.
Little C liked it so much he HAD to have a hat to.

It's a jungle out there

This past week at dinner G was moaning and groaning b/c the French Toast had blueberries in it.  I very graciously removed all the offending berries, but he kept moaning about the blue spots they left.
Fortunately, Matts jumped in and explained,
"Gray, it's like if I painted you blue and fed you to a cheetah, you'd still taste the same".
PAUSE
 "you're right".

Dinner was finished with no further ado.

First of Fall

The weather has finally cooled off here in Atlanta. Although it's probably just a false start, we've been taking advantage of the beautiful weather and spending every free moment outside. This afternoon, that meant hitting up the Ice Cream festival at Piedmont park. Sadly, the ice cream offerings were pathetic. Happily, our boys are easily entertained as long as there's space to run.

By the end little C just wanted some love.
He was happy to return the favor.
These monkeys did some serious tree climbing...
with Daddy's help.
Allie oversaw the entire expedition and wasn't always sure Reed and I were being responsible parents.
C did a little climbing of his own.
And spent quality time kissing (it's his new skill, remember) every surface he could reach.
Needless to say, G was satisfied with the afternoon.
Now off to watch some football with Reed and the two big boys who begged to stay up late and cheer on BYU.
GO COUGARS!

The Youngling

Christian...come to the dark side...

Never. I laugh in the face of danger.

DragonCon 4.0

It's the most wonderful time of the year...in Atlanta.
DragonCon + Sublime donuts = SUBLIME

Daddy and his boys

Even C understood the awesomeness

Captain Rex(s)

Commander Cody (s)

The Emporer's littlest guard.

I honestly don't think I can describe the fantastic people watching that goes on.
Plus, all the people are so friendly and in such a good mood. Apparently if we all just ran around in full battle/fantasy gear the world would be a happier place.

Grayson, Gray

Grayson, Gray has hit the big time this year, going to school all 5days and learning to read (although if you ask him he'll deny it).
For his first project he had to make an "All about me" poster and dress up like Dad to present it in class.

Like father, like son.
Note the expressions: Gray excited and Reed too cool.
Switch.
Now G's too cool and Reed's excited
My favorite part of the poster:
When I asked G if we should put Grayson or Grayson James Peterson on the poster he replied: "actually, just Super Gray would be good".
Oh, and his favorite sports are soccer, basketball, bike riding and wildball.
