Happy Birthday Elle

Seven years ago at 12:55am we became parents. We were worried that Elle had just missed the school deadline and spent an hour debating whether or not she should start Kindergarten early. Within a week we were debating whether she should have a heart transplant or the norwood surgery. Interesting how life doesn't always go as planned.

To celebrate we'll be going to McDonald's, watching Beauty and the Beast and eating PINK cupcakes because, according to Matts and Gray, that is exactly how it is supposed to be.

my love her too! Matts and Gray are so sweet. We were thinking about her yesterday and can't believe she would be 7 now. Good thing you have two super cute boys that are able to keep you guys smiling. We love you!

Oh Kendall, this post just breaks my heart. I remember this time for you so well because you and Reed were so kind to come celebrate our wedding with us when I'm sure you had so many other things going on in preparation for Elle's birth. You are such dear friends and I think of you and your family often. Elle is truly an angel and continually touches so many, many lives. You are indeed special, chosen parents to have a celestial child like Elle bless your lives and so many others. Happy Birthday, Elle.
