So our good friends, Luke & Jyoti, got married this past weekend in an incredibly elaborate, beautiful, and fun Indian wedding. Kendall and I got to slip away to Southern California for a couple days and left the boys to stay with grandparents in Utah. If you've never been to an Indian wedding we highly recommend it - three days of ceremonies, parties, food, dancing, and friends. We had a great time.
The happy couple
The outdoor reception: 600 guests - dinner, dancing, and lots of fun
This is the outdoor pavilion where the ceremony took place
The wedding cake (not only does it look 6 feet tall...it was)
The view of the Hummingbird Nest ranch house from the reception area (If you're interested, the ranch complex is for sale for the bargain price of $75M).
Kendall's henna tattoo
I always wanted her to get a tattoo :)
Some of the Duke MBA 2006 crowd
This time with Luke & Jyoti
Some people got carried away on the dance floor
What a great time...thanks Luke & Jyoti.
